I’m creating a custom shortcode that will output recent posts. I would like to have a comment form for each post in the loop so they can be pulled up within a modal window. The problem is that all of the functions I find in the codex echo out the results. I would need something that returns them instead for use within the shortcode. Is there a function that does this that I’m missing?
