# Comment form height

 * For months now I’ve seen a height issue on the comment form box in Jetpack Comments
   when the box is in a collapsed state. The placeholder text, “Enter your comment
   here” is cut off. I see this all over the web.
 * Since the box is in an iframe, I don’t see a decent way of targeting it with 
   CSS. The problem is on the #comment textarea element, which is getting an inline
   style of `height: 10px` applied to it. In every case I’ve seen this, doubling
   the height to 20px fixes it perfectly.

 * Hi!
 * On both Matt’s site and WP Tavern (as well as every other site with Jetpack comments)
   the text is *not* cut off for me. I am using the latest Chrome on OSX. What browser
   version and Operating system are using? Have you tried with a different browser?
   Have you tried using your browser in “Safe mode” or without any extensions/plugins
   enabled?

 * Interesting. I’m on Chromium dev channel. I had tested it cross browser using
   the same minimal extensions. I tracked it down to Ghostery blocking Gravatar,
   but only in Chromium. It doesn’t happen in Firefox with Ghostery enabled.
 * This seems like a non-issue considering the circumstances. I’m just glad to know
   it’s not in Jetpack. 🙂
