Comment Form Being Cached with User Data in It
-
I’m running into a very odd issue.
I’ve had several reports of users that when they scroll down to make a comment, there is a name and email already in the comment form, not their own. I’ve verified this occurrence, and that it is not their own information, but that of whoever made the most recent comment.
If there’s a big enough gap between comments then the cache expires and that doesn’t happen, but often times I will receive several comments in an hour, and that’s usually when it happens.
I’ve never heard of this happening.
I’m wondering if this could have to do with segment caching in W3TC Pro? I enabled it, and purchased pro, because I was told it should work better with Genesis themes, which I have. But I just can’t find any other reports of similar behavior out there, so I’m at a loss.
