# Comment Error Message!

 * My comments haven’t been working for a couple of hours now. This is the message
   I get:
 * WordPress database error: [Can’t open file: ‘wp_comments.MYI’ (errno: 144)]
    
   SELECT COUNT(comment_ID) FROM wp_comments WHERE comment_post_ID = 1506 AND comment_approved
   = ‘1’;

 * Could spam be causing this problem?

 * I would maybe search the forums for this error (or parts of it), but last time
   I saw an error like this I had a problem with my database and had my host go 
   over the error and run some fixing procedures on my database.
 * If you can’t find anything or get a good answer from these forums, maybe send
   an email or phone call over to your host to find out if they could check your
   database over.
