 * Before version 4.4, the code that added the comment link to the date of a comment
   was easy to find and remove from comment-template.php.
 * I don’t want the comment date to be a hyperlink.
 * How do I remove it? Please.

 * Anyone have an idea where the code is that places the comment URL around the 
   anchor text of the comment date?
