 * I was wondering if there was any such plugin to force a person to confirm they’re
   a real person before the comment can be approved.. I don’t want e-mail confirmation,
   I want something like the person has to type in a jumble of letters matching 
   the image – much like what they use on those e-mail registration forms..

 * Called “Captchas” and they can be easily fooled. Your best bet is to use a combination
   of Spam Karma 2, Bad Behaviour, Referrer Karma and other spam fighting plugins
   to ensure that you get “people” comments.
