Comment bubble in odd place on home page

  • With a recent update, a comment bubble started to appear in the upper right hand corner of my site. I’m not sure why it is there, but I would like to remove it. Also, it is only on the front page, not posts or other pages.

    The website is http://www.perfectingsimplicity.com

    Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Looks like some markup errors.
    I’ve ran your website through W3C’s validator and, amongst the hundred-odd errors, found some that appear to be responsible. Look for errors that say “unclosed” or “stray” end tag. Try to fix those.

    Well to simply get rid of it add this to your style.css

    .comments-link a {
    display: none;
    }

    This appeared to be a plugin problem. The plugin was EasyRecipe. Once I deactivated then reactivated it, the problem went away. Maybe it was the cause of so many unclosed HTML links.
