Command Line Use

    Hello,

    I want to use this plugin rather than GD to keep exif infos attached to my photos. I downloaded and installed (and activated) successfully ImageMagick Engine but my images still don’t have exif attached.

    I don’t know if the php module is installed by my provider, the plugin tells me it isn’t but I can use the command line method since the usr/bin path is green checked.
    Is that right ? Do I need to have the php module installed to make the command line version working ?

    My understanding:

    The command-line method should work if ImageMagick is installed and enabled on your host server.

    To use the other method you need ImageMagick AND Imagick installed and enabled on your host server.

    Contact your Hosting service and ask if ImageMagick is enabled.
