• This plugin insert Facebook comments inside posts or pages. This is for me absurd, comments must be outside the content of posts or pages

To solve this problem I bought the Pro version but the Pro version don’t solve this problem like it claims.

The plugin author write: Pro version has comment Box position. The only position is added by the Pro version is Top.

With Top you have the comment in the top of posts before the content, useless.

They gave me back my money

  • The plugin uses FB comments plugin, which inserts content in an iframe (source: https://www.facebook.com/plugins/comments.php with a bunch of parameters). This means that the content really isn’t even in the page at all… even in the free version.

If you talk about placement: by default it puts the iframe in the comments section of the page. Only when you use the shortcode it will be placed where you put the shortcode.

As for the pro option: you can see the “top” option in the free version, just before the pro popup appears, so you knew what extra’s you would get when buying pro.

Soo, I’m really having trouble understanding your point. Btw, I’m not a plugin author, nor am I affiliated with them.

In my case it was inside posts or page, other similar plugin I tested works correctly by inserting Facebook comments outside page content.

It is correct to write “pro version add top position” and I would not lose my time.

But no problem, they honestly admitted that with my theme their plugin was not working well.

Ah ok, so it was a misplacement issue due to theme incompatibility.

I love this plugin, but as well i dont like the comment box placement. It goes before post author and if you have other plugins that for example add something below your content, they will be now added after comment box plugin. I think this is a huge problem and should be fixed ASAP.

For example i have sharing plugin from jetpack, buttons are added after text, but with Facebook Comments buttons are added after comments.

Also i have WP Product Review that sometimes have a huge box that goes after the content, but with Comments it comes after the comments, so this is real problem, but happely the only problem of this plugin, so fix this and maybe sales will go up.
