[NSFW] Come modificare la lingua in un tema wordpress

    Salve ho un tema solo in inglese.
    E’ un tema particolare ha molte funzioni.
    So che per mettere una lingua in ogni tema esiste una cartella dei linguaggi che ho trovato ma dentro di essa c’è solo l’inglese.
    en_US.mo, en_US.po e escortwp.pot
    Dentro questi file ci sono solo testi in inglese.
    Alcuni articoli mi suggeriscono di inserire i seguenti file it_IT.mo e it_IT.po
    Però mi domando che se questi file non sono collegati da qualche parte al tema come fanno a funzionare?
    Infatti non appare l’italiano ma la cosa strana non appare nemmeno se io modifico i file originali del tema inserendo direttamente li la lingua di mio interesse!

    Sapete spiegarmi perché?

    Not every plugin or theme comes with translation files for every possible language. If your own language is missing, you have to add it. Basis for these own translations are the files provided by the theme or plugin.

    I would recommend you to use the plugin Loco Translate. With it you can translate everything that is translatable also into your own language: https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/ – if you have questions about the procedure, ask in their support forum.
