Combining Themes

I am currently using the Hemingway theme for my blog, but I absolutely love how posts are organized on the “posts page” in the Modern theme. I am looking for a way to incorporate the layout of the “posts page” from Modern into Hemingway, while keeping everything else the same (as it comes in Hemingway). I have no coding experience, but would love some pointers, and hopefully a solution. Please let me know if there is any way to pull this off. Thanks!
