Combine multiple feeds?

    I have an existing podcast on itunes that I publish though PowerPress. I like the idea of using Anchor.fm to supplement the main episodes with shorter episodes I can record on the road.

    Is it possible to combine multiple RSS feeds into one that gets submitted to itunes?

    e.g. I want to pull in the Anchor.fm feed into Powerpress, combine it with my regular WordPress podcast feed, and submit that.

    There may be another WordPress plugin or third-party web service that does this but there’s no functionality for that within PowerPress itself.

    Do you want this to be automated or one time? You could do a one-time podcast feed import and those episodes would be combined with your existing episodes.

    Just a heads up, make sure you keep a backup of anything you put on that service, currently it is a free service that is funded by venture capital, they need to figure out how to monetize in the coming months or be purchased by someone else. When they do they will most likely change the TOS to either monetize your content or charge for the services. We have seen companies like this before, offer free podcast hosting then 1-4 years later shut down because the business model was not established at the beginning and they are not profitable (e.g. Mevio/PodShow, VoloMedia). They did get a lot of money from Google Ventures, perhaps their long term goal is to sell to Google and become a YouTube for podcasts. Just keep that in mind moving forward.
