Do you want it combined so you can read them in your RSS Reader as if they are one feed?
Or do you want to display them on your website as one feed?
For the former, I would use Rojo as your Reader. You can tag the feeds with the same tag name. Clicking on that tag will displays all those feeds like they are one.
For the latter, I recommend using CaRP.
Thanks for the reply. Let me clarify:
I want to combine multiple feeds into one feed. That way, when sombody comes to my blog and subscribes to my WordPress feed, they not only get my blog posts, but my del.icio.us bookmarks, flickr photos, etc.
I do not want to post all of these things on my website, I just want them combined into one feed.
Also, the key to my request is that I want it all in a plug-in. I do not want to rely on third party solutions. If Feedjumbler or Feedburner wants to start charging for their service, I’m screwed. Plus, doing it all from my WordPress site will insure that RSS/Atom links don’t change.
Lastly, I tried the Feedburner plug-in, but that simply redirects to your Feedburner RSS feed. Again, I’d like to stay away from using another service.
While I haven’t tried it out heavily, the MultiFeed function of CG-FeedRead was built to mix the latest x elements from y feeds (which sounds sort of like what you’re looking for), and then I have a ReFeed option which (in theory) generates the proper XML output for the combined feed. Again, in theory this makes it possible to serve up aggregated feeds from multiple sources that have been ‘interleaved’ by timestamp…
If you want to give it a try, drop me a line a cgcode at chait dot net, and I can try to walk you through it — for starters, you need to grab the CG-PowerPack off my site. 😉
