    Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

When you use the normal “Product description” on the field mapping page the plugin will use the parent variable product description for all variations. When however one or all product descriptions of the variations of that parent variable product have been filled in the description of the variation will be used.

    Hope this answers your question?

so the way my theme is setup, i have Product short description as the main text for the product and then Product description is extra information like sizes and stuff. So i would like to, if possible, map the description to print the Product short description as well as the Product description after it.

so if my Product short description is “This is a poster of a car” and my Product description is “24×36, Unframed” the description that is in the XML file would be “This is a poster of a car 24×36, Unframed”

    Hi,

Unfortunately the free version of our plugin is not able to concatenate these two fields to one value.
