    Hi
    Siteground > Go Geek
30 sites > All Divi > All have same plugins
    Caching plugin > SG Optimiser
For the last few days I have been optimising all sites to get the best speeds/ pagespeed score. I have played with settings across the board to find any problem areas.
I have one repeatable issue … the SG Combine CSS setting causes certain background images not to display on Divi sites.
Try the linked page in incognito.
    You will get this: https://www.screencast.com/t/Zpd1BgkB2Htw
The Divi Theme JS & CSS settings are on.
All settings in SG Optimiser are working except the Combine CSS … this happens on most sites .. there will be a few bgd images that are missing.
Can you tell me if there is a particular script that I could exclude in the combined CSS function … I don’t want to lose ‘all the goodness’ by having the setting off.
I have left the problem setting “ON” for the website as per the link.
I think there is an incompatibility with the Divi Combine CSS that needs to be addressed
    Many Thanks
    Regards Mark

    Hi,

    @sstoqnov

Nice of you to answer everyone else’s questions but not mine even though I spend tonnes of money with SG … refer other people on to you … and seem to do loads of Beta testing of your relatively poorly tested functions.

Would you be kind enough to give me a reply before I go onto the Facebook Group.

    Many Thanks

    Your long-term client Mark

    Hey @adaptablewebsites

On Friday, I replied to a few tickets(while traveling back home) to kindly ask for site URLs because the users didn’t provide such, and I cannot check their issues today.

The issues you have are related to static files generation by Divi Builder.
The plugin creates a separate directory where it stores the generated CSS files, and each file in that directory has a relative link to the background images.

You don’t need to use this option when the Combine CSS is enabled, because our plugin takes care of the caching.

Please go to Divi->Theme Options->Builder->Advanced and disable “Static CSS File Generation”. Then enable the CSS Combination, and the images will be properly displayed.

    Regards,
    Stanimir

    Stanimir,

Sorry I do sound a bit harsh reading back on it.
    Appreciate the response.
Thanks for that … perfect solution.
