Hi,
Is it possible that you have updated Jetpack since then?
Yes, I’ve updated Jetpack last week normally.
Okay.
The changes made in v1.3.2 from v1.3.1 are very small and it is hard to think those changes caused the conflict. And by looking at the support forum of Jetpack, you can find some users reporting issues with Publicize in the recent versions.
To narrow down the cause, could you try this?
1. Create a test site with WordPress 4.5.3 (https://wordpress.org/wordpress-4.5.3.zip).
2. Install and activate Task Scheduler 1.3.1 (https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/task-scheduler.1.3.1.zip) and the latest version of Auto-post.
3. Install and activate the Jetpack version you updated from. The list of old versions can be found here (https://wordpress.org/plugins/jetpack/developers/). If you are not certain which version you had been using before you updated it, maybe you can guess with the release dates indicated in the change log.
4. Make sure all the needed functionality works as expected at this point. If Publicize does not work, keep trying with the older version of Jetpack.
5. After you confirm Publicize works with an old version of Jetpack and Task Scheduler 1.3.1 and WordPress 4.5.3, update Jetpack to the latest version. Let me know if you can see your desired functionality here.
This sounds plausible, thanks for your reply. I will build this testbed and checking the result in the next round of auto posting of my site (8:00 CET).
You’re absolutely right, it’s a problem with Jetpack. I fixed it with the workaround given in the support article you found and now it’s working. Sorry to bother you with someone’s bugs.
That’s okay. Glad it helped!
