• Hello!
I’m wondering if you could help me understand what I’m not doing correctly? I’ve set the gallery to display 5 columns but it displays all of them in a single column.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks,
    Karl

  • I’m having the same issue. Karl, did you get a response or were you able to figure out a solution?

    Thanks!

    Hey there Brad,
No – I haven’t heard anything back about this.
My sense is that this plugin may be on it’s way out of usability and support.
Which is sad, since the functionality it promised is something that we need.

I got it to work. Not sure how, though! In settings, I said 3 columns for number of columns. I did not check to include document descriptions in settings, but more on that below.

In the actual embed Document Gallery Settings, I linked to Media File and selected 2 columns, and still did not check to include document descriptions but selected to auto-generate thumbnails.

When I added the documents, I did include document descriptions in the regular WordPress image caption box.

Voila – it worked. First time around, I believe I selected in both the plugin settings and in the document gallery settings to include document descriptions. Second time around, I did not. *Could* be the issue.

The document descriptions were using a very small text size and I increased it in CSS.
