# Columns

 * I am unable to add columns to this theme beyond creating divs with widths which
   are throwing off the responsiveness of my site. I tried to use Column Shortcodes
   but they don’t work.
 * Does this theme have column code embedding in? I’m unable to find any.

 * This theme is Bootstrap based which means that you can create columns using Bootstrap
   grid [http://getbootstrap.com/css/#grid](http://getbootstrap.com/css/#grid)
 * To simplify this you can use plugins such as:
    [http://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-bootstrap-shortcodes/](http://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-bootstrap-shortcodes/)
 * Just make sure you disable Bootstrap files that comes with plugin and uses ones
   that are included in the theme. There is a simple settings page where you can
   get this done.
 * In case you won’t disable it, then Bootstrap will be loaded twice. It is not 
   going to throw any errors but your website will load slower because of unnecessary
   files.
