  • Hello,
    I have added in the css options
    .tablepress .column-1 {
    width: 400px !important;
    }
    but it has no effect

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    The reason for this is that your table is already wide than the screen width, and the browser is therefore not honoring this command – it simply does not want to make the table even bigger.

    You could however try this “Custom CSS” instead of what you are using now:

    .tablepress-id-1 {
      table-layout: fixed;
    }
    .tablepress-id-1 .column-2 {
      width: 400px !important;
    }

    In addition, please also uncheck the “Use DataTables” checkbox on the table’s “Edit” screen to get rid of a JavaScript error.
