 * Hi,
    Can anyone advise on managing columns? I want a 4 column image and a 8 column
   text area on the homepage. Firstly, what framework does Storefront use?
 * I can’t seem to do it using gutenberg and had to install classic to for simple
   div editing.
    I did try a plugin called Bootstrap Blocks for Gitenberg but could
   only get 2 or 3 equal columns.
 * Or advice on a page builder that works with Storefront?
 * Trying to get something along the lines of this…
    <div class=”container-fluid”
   > <div class=”row”> <div class=”col-sm-4″></div> <div class=”col-sm-8″> <h2 class
   =”color-primary”>We’ve got your new favourite products</h2> </div>

 * Hi, I thought the support for this theme/template would be better supported but
   after nearly 4 days without a reply I find it a little deserting.
 * With that in mind, after many hours trying to work out what is the best solution
   for greater control over column management, I have found [Kadence Blocks](https://wordpress.org/plugins/kadence-blocks/)
   to be very useful and seems to work well in conjunction with Guntenberg and this
   theme.
 * Now I only have less problem to solve.

 * Hi [@pantsman28](https://wordpress.org/support/users/pantsman28/),
 * > Firstly, what framework does Storefront use?
 * I’m not 100% sure what you mean by that? If it helps clarify, Storefront was
   built/started off of the [Underscores](https://underscores.me/) theme. It has
   changed plenty though from what is essentially a starter framework to build from
   with Underscores.
 * Nonetheless, regarding a grid framework Storefront uses something called [Susy](https://www.oddbird.net/susy/)
   to help create it’s layout/grid system. Perhaps that’s what you were wondering
   about?
 * Either way, as you’ve started doing your best bet is to use a plugin that adds
   a block to let you create columns as needed in your posts and pages. Maybe you’d
   already tried it, but there is a default column block. I was able to create 4
   and 8 column areas with it.

    Thanks. Having never
   used Storefront before I was unsure what was controlling the responsive grid
   elements. I recently, only found out it was built off the Underscores theme.
   Normally, I only every use bootstrap 3/4 but found Kadence Blocks very useful
   addition to the clumsy Guntenberg which again I am still trying to get used to.
 * I will look into Susy for the grid layout.
 * Much appreciate the reply.
