Colorbox gallery popping up from single text link

i’d like a colorbox group to pop up from just a single text link. like, GALLERY and when you click on it, the colorbox opens with navigation of a set of pics. ideally i’d need to have several of those on the same page.
is there a plugin that allows to implement it without changing any code manually so that the owner of the page can later change the sets of images without compromising functionality.
