Support » Plugin: jQuery Colorbox » Colorbox – Empty Buttons when no images

  • I’m a wordpress novice and am looking for some help with a site set up several years ago using the Esplanade theme. It’s getting old but we haven’t had time to update the site recently.

    My issue is that on every page there are three empty buttons that I think are related to colorbox. They are not visible anywhere that I can see but do flag errors on every page on the site when inspected with the WAVE WebAIM accessibility tool.

    WebAIM shows the following:

    <div style=”clear: left;”>
    <div id=”cboxMiddleLeft” style=”float: left;”>
    <div id=”cboxContent” style=”float: left;”>
    <div id=”cboxTitle” style=”float: left;”>
    <div id=”cboxCurrent” style=”float: left;”>
    <button type=”button” id=”cboxPrevious”>
    <button type=”button” id=”cboxNext”>
    <button id=”cboxSlideshow”>
    <div id=”cboxLoadingOverlay” style=”float: left;”>
    <div id=”cboxLoadingGraphic” style=”float: left;”>
    <div id=”cboxMiddleRight” style=”float: left;”>

    Any thoughts on how to remedy this?

    Many thanks.
