Color just under the navigation menu
-
Hello!
I would like to have a color strip just under the navigation menu. When I insert a color there, the color is under the entire header, even under the logo. What do I need to do to have a color just under the menu?
Thankful!

I just replied to the other ticket and it looks like it is similar to this one.
Is this solved by my reply over here? https://wordpress.org/support/topic/line-below-the-header/
Thanks!
Best,
DavidHello!
The question I asked earlier was about a line between the menu and the first post. And that question was answered.
However, the question I asked in this post was about a color strip behind the navigation menu, to differentiate it from the rest of the header.
Hi,
I’m not sure if that’s exactly what you’re looking for but let’s try some custrom CSS 🙂
.wpbf-menu > li { background-color: #eee; }
You can add the CSS in the WordPress customizer under Additional CSS for instance.
Best,
DavidIs there a way for this bar to occupy the entire horizontal extent?
Waiting for the answer to the previous question for more than 3 weeks. If anyone can help, I appreciate it!
I’m sorry for the delay, I must have missed your reply.
I’m still not 100% sure what you’re trying to achieve. Is there a chance for you to create a quick mockup of how you want the navigation to look like?
Thanks so much.

DavidHello,
Thanks for your answer.
What I want is that the color under the menu can be full width. Now, this blue color is just under the menu area. I want it to be full width, going to the extremes. Not the menu, just the color under the menu.
.wpbf-menu-stacked { max-width: 100%; padding-left: 0; padding-right: 0; } .wpbf-menu-stacked #navigation { background: #1e73be; }
This should do the trick 🙂
Best,
David
