I have noticed that when the image gets uploaded it seems to be changing the color profile as my images look grey and drab upon upload. Can you tell me what profile you are using and I will start saving them this way… I am currently using ProPhoto RGB.

I believe all metadata is stripped out when resizing, and since color profiles are stored in the metadata, that would explain the color difference. So essentially, there is NO color profile being used. See if you can get your photo editor to save the “new” colors within the image/pixel data instead of relying on a color profile.

I did some digging and you are correct, WordPress itself does the damage. However, if you save in srgb it seems to work fine. I batch processed an entire folder in this method and uploaded using your brilliant plugin and it works like a charm!

    Thanks for the quick response!

SRGB is the best bet you can get to display images in browsers. All other color profiles are being neglected f4om the browsers…
