• Hi Joe

When you display a collection as a shortcode using the shortcode block of WordPress, this does no more show the map as from WordPress version 6.2.2. You have to put your shortcode into a paragraph block, then it works.

Displaying a map instead of a collection works in both ways.

    Best regards.

    Daniel.

    Hi @microteq,

Thanks for letting me know, although I am not seeing this behaviour.

Could this be something to do with your Collection filtering?

    Cheers,

    Joe

    Hi @microteq,

I just installed a fresh WP v6.2.2 install and tested the Map and Collection Shortcodes and everything worked as expected.

Must be a weird conflict :-/ Let me know if you discover anything else!

    Cheers,

    Joe

    I’m seeing same behavior: https://dev.hikingwithdean.com/all-hikes-waymark/

The top one uses ¶ block, the bottom one [/] block

    Hi @collabora,

I believe your issue is because you are displaying multiple occurrences of the same Waymark Shortcode on a single page which is causing a “Map container is already initialized.” error.

I need to figure out a proper fix for this, but as a work-around you can provide a map_hash parameter which should fix this:

    [Waymark collection_id="123" map_hash="map2"]

If this is not the case please create a separate ticket.

    Cheers,

    Joe

yeah, that was it. [/] block only now
