Hi,
thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
I’m not sure that I understand. What do you mean with “collapse” here?
Regards,
Tobias
Hi Tobias,
Thank you and apologies! Shows I am a newbie. I meant, being able to use an “accordion” in row x through which, if clicked, it would expand to reveal an additional y number of rows which are immediately under. Almost like in the “collapse” function but it will not be for columms which do not fit on the screen but for rows which i would like to “contract” and “expand”.
Does this clarify my earlier question to you?
Million thanks!
Nico
Hi Nico,
thanks! Now I understand! Unfortunately though, I’m not aware of an existing solution for this, sorry 🙁
Your best chance might be to use some custom JavaScript/jQuery code, where you e.g. add a button in one cell and show/hide rows when that is clicked.
This could be similar to the JS code from https://tobias.baethge.com/2009/07/expandhide-accordion-feature-explained/ but you would need to use other CSS selectors (like .row-4
) for the table rows.

Tobias
