 * > try to disable the plugin,
 * Also try switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Seventeen.) using [FTP/ SFTP ](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients),
   or your web-host’s cPanel or whatever file management application your host provides(
   no Dashboard access required). Navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and switch to
   the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder by adding “-old” to
   the end of the folder name. Alternately, you can remove other themes except the
   default theme (Twenty Sixteen.). That will force your site to use it.

 * What did you do before this issue occurred?

 * Hi t-p
 * I just log in the website and saw a lot of plugins need to be updated, so I updated
   them all, and then I refresh the page, they show a bunch of error, so I use Cpanel
   to disable to plugin on HostGator (change the file name), but still didn’t see
   any change.
 * Thank you.

 * Try one more time:
 * Try [manually resetting your plugins](https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)(
   no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one
   individually until you find the cause.
 * If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via [SFTP or FTP](https://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients),
   or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to `/wp-content/
   themes/` and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force
   the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (
   theme functions can interfere like plugins).
