Codex advice limits to all, not just wpadmin

    To harden wp, the codex advises the code below in .htaccess (xx.xx of course being my fixed ip). However the code as suggested blocks all access to my web sites other then me. What should the code say to do as it says ie block to wp-admin ONLY.

    # Block access to wp-admin.
    order deny,allow
    allow from xx.xx.xx.xx
    deny from all

    I let BulletProof Security handle all of that and much, much more for me, but I think that code is intended to go in the /wp-admin/ folder and not in “root”.
