 * In the section on Character Escaping, the first example incorrectly double-escapes
   the JSON on line 2 thus:
 * $escaped_json = ‘{“key”:”value with \\”escaped quotes\\””}’;
 * It should read:
 * $escaped_json = ‘{“key”:”value with \”escaped quotes\””}’;
 * The second example (Workaround) is correct.
