Code lost when switching from HTML to Visual edit

I make code changes in HTML editor and the pages work fine. But when I switch back to Visual editor, those changes get lost.
In HTML I’ve uploaded an iContact form embedded in a jif file. Switching to Visual looses the gif connection.
I should also say that my client has written the page to include 6 H4 tags and 92 Strong tags. They really want certain words to jump out. Think this is causing the problem?
We have only 4 plugins installed, none are TinyMCE.
Here is the page, which looks fine now, but if I switch to Visual – so client can edit page – we loose the form.

I’ve noticed it here in Atuhualpa as well as elsewhere Intrepidity. Is this theme specific and if so, how to fix so my clients can edit their page in Visual.
    Thanks in advance!

The WP TinyMCE editor is notorious for changing code when switching from HTML to Visual mode. The Ultimate TinyMCE plugin has an alternate HTML editing button that might work better.

If that does not work, try the CKEditor plugin. I actually prefer this editor, but it sometimes has conflicts with other plugins.

    Hi and thanks vtxyzzy,

But as I said I have NO TinyMCE plugins on this site, so although that is a common problem, I know it’s not my problem here.

What I do have is lots of text formatting and 2 iContact forms.

I’d love to know how to deal with this or at least how to work around it.

    Thanks!

TinyMCE is the editor that WP uses, so you do have it. Unless you have replaced it, TinyMCE is used for all WP editing.
