I recently switched from Canvas theme to Amadeus theme and was cleaning up some unused/wanted plugins. I created a “Under Construction” landing page and noticed that this code was being inserted twice into the new page:

    <script src=”safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/76e301c9/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js” type=”text/javascript”></script>

I deleted the script OK and created a test page (link above). I have searched the Interwebs and this forum and I can’t figure out what plugin is creating this javascript.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I’m not seeing <script src=”safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/76e301c9/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js” type=”text/javascript”></script> on either the home or test page. Try clearing your cache. That might be the culprit.

I just checked. It is still there. Did you view source?

I found out what was causing this to be inserted into all new pages and new posts within WordPress. It is actually a Safari browser Extention for Ebay!
