J’ai tenté d’enlever les lignes de code correspondant aux anciennes photos mais cela ne résout rien.

Same here… It definately need an option to disable it. Also 2 critical things : When no setting are done for add picture and gallery and home page featured blocks, it should show nothing, not those dumb examples… With your theme, we have to find workarounds to get it to work.
Otherwise it would be a great theme.

I managed to work it out.
In the appearance menu in ‘Editor’.
Select the PHP file to edit, which is ‘front-page.php’.
Highlight all of the code and paste/save it in a simple text application (i used TextEdit) as a back-up, in case you need to recover it.
Then in front-page.php (>appearance >editor) delete the section which starts
<!– Media Gallery –>
and ends
<!– End Media Gallery –>
it’s quite a lot of code, that’s why i saved the back-up in TextEdit.

But i was more hoping something from the author to make this user friendly… You know what i mean.
I thought in delete it. But i decided to add images.
The cuestion is: How i can add a description or a tittle of the image. I mean, a bottom bar o something like that where i could show some description.
Which HTML code i have to paste in front-page.php for that?
