Am I allowed to say, My Wife, added a code, from 17 HATS, to pull in a template for contact information on our Contact Us – page.
Now It shows on all pages of my website, and I cannot find how to remove.
Contact Us page has been removed.
    Any help?

  • Was the code added to your theme files, or was it like a shortcode added to a specific page?

If you added it to your theme’s files, you may need to specify the one page it should appear on.

If you share the code they provided, I may be able to help get it sorted for you.

    here is the code
    <iframe name=”lc_contact_form” frameborder=”0″ width=”100%” height=”600″ src=”https://201701.17hats.com/embed/lead/form/xbckdgbnnngdtvdzzpkkgcdrdtvpnpsc”></iframe><script type=”text/javascript” src=”https://201701.17hats.com/vendor/iframeSizer.min.js”></script&gt;

    Insert Form on Website
    Instructions:
Copy the code above and paste it anywhere into a site you have access to the source code.
The form will automatically fill any html container it is in.

She tried to post to one page, now it is on all of our pages,,,,

To clarify, was the code added through the WordPress page editor (i.e. through WordPress admin Pages > Edit Page), or added to one of your theme’s PHP files?

she says she did it through WordPress admin pages>edit page.

If she used “appearance -> editor”, she modified a page template. You’ll have to remove her modifications (carefully).

Visit a page where the code is still showing up, and click the Edit Page link in the WordPress admin bar at the top of the page.

Click the Text tab at the top of the page editor.

Look to see if that code shows up anywhere.

If it doesn’t show up in there, then the code likely has been placed somewhere in one of your theme files as sterndata suggested above. It also may have been added somewhere in your theme’s settings.
