 * Hey all,
 * I’m looking for a starting point/web links on how to go about creating a code
   box for my posts. i.e a textbox with scrollbars that will preserve the format
   of the contained text. I would like to use the ` tag if possible.
 * I’m kinda new to the whole php programming, and my first guess is that i’ll need
   to code this in php. Just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction.

 * I may be talking out of my a$$ here, but could you not just do it all in CSS?
   If you set the height of your <codebox> (an assigned class/id of a div) and then
   say overflow: show or something… would that not work?
 * If it doesnt i know that a lot of forums have this in them (this feature i mean)
   I am sure there is a way to do it without php… you could always set up a form(
   coded in html mind you) and do it that way… or are you wanting to have it more
   dynamic?
