    Hi ccramer

I have put an example on pastebin for you.

But if you are going to run a website, you might want to try learn this stuff. You don’t need to become a professional programmer, but become comfortable opening files and adding/removing code snippets as required. Just make a copy of the file before editing, and what’s the worst that can happen 🙂

Good luck, I hope you like the plugin.

Thank you but where on pastebin? I’ve never heard of it… so went and signed up… Now how do I find the completed code? I am trying to learn this stuff.
I have great confidence that I will love the plugin if I could only get it to work? Do you not have a screen shot of where to insert the code? You used to.

Dude, the word ‘pastebin’ in my previous message is a link. If you click it, it loads a page with the code in it.
Here is the full URL anyway…

    http://pastebin.com/yTXARvVb

That code you sent (appreciate that)is the code that’s already in that file: nextgen_gallery/view/gallery.php. i’ve selected the voting options for images but nothing is showing up on the page.

It is gallery.php file, with the snippet you needed to add on line 48. Just replace your gallery.php file with the example on pastebin.

The snippet in the example you provided on pastebin is

      already in nextgen-gallery/view/gallery.php

These are the files I have…
    nextgen-gallery/view/gallery.php
    nextgen-gallery/nggallery.php
    nextgen-gallery/admin/addgallery.php

Yes, the code on pastebin IS the gallery.php. BUT, in that code on pastebin, I have already added the snippet for the voting form for you.
Look on line 48 of the code on pastebin. You will see the vote form code called. You said you didn’t know how to add it yourself, so I took the time to add it for you, and put it in a place you can just copy and paste to overwrite your whole file, without having to fiddle with line numbers.

I honestly don’t know how I can make this any more simple for you. All you need to do is copy and paste…

Thank you. I’m saying that the code you put on pastebin is EXACTLY what I already have in the file.

This is my previous email to you:
That code you sent (appreciate that)is the code that’s already in that file: nextgen_gallery/view/gallery.php. i’ve selected the voting options for images but nothing is showing up on the page.

I genuinely appreciate your time. Despite how stupid I’m looking I’ve done quite a bit for having NO experience at all…

But it freaking isn’t the exact same. I don’t know how to explain that any clearer. Look at line forty freaking eight of the code on pastebin. Look at it. Study it. Read it out loud to the closest person (or pet).

Now, look for that piece of code in your gallery.php file on your site. You won’t freaking find it. Because it is the added code you wanted someone to do for you.

The very first freaking thing you asked was was, and I quote:

screen shot of the COMPLETE correct code that I can cut and paste in order to proceed?

What do you think I’ve given you?
