Hello @loregi13,
I was able to duplicate the issue with your categories not being available in the block settings for the Posts block. I’ll get with the engineering team to get this working. Thank you for the feedback! When I get more info I’ll relay it here.
Thank you. Hope they can fix it!
Hello @loregi13,
Take a look to see if this is still effecting you. I have tested on WordPress 5.3.2 and CoBlocks 1.21.1 as well as with Gutenberg 7.5, and my custom Categories are working.
Hi @dfeuster
That’s the result of my last check:
having WordPress 5.3.2 and theme Miyazaki, (https://wordpress.org/themes/miyazaki/) all the plug in inactive apart from CoBlock, my custom Categories are NOT working.
If I switch to the official theme Twenty Twenty I notice that custom Categories work.
I’m sorry because Myazaky is really a beautiful theme, I will write to the autor to understand if there is a way to fix it.
Many thanks
Hi @dfeuster
I have to correct my last post, because i double checked, and the CoBlocks custom categories DON’T work, with all the themes I tried on my WordPress 5.3.2, including the official theme Twenty Twenty.
I checked with ll the plugins deactivated – all deactivated, except from CoBlock.
I tried with the new page and with the new post:
if I put a Posts Block and if I go to feed settings, Sort by: category
I can only select All and I don’t have my custom categories
Custom Categories only works if I select the block “last Posts” (sorry I’m translating the italian version of the plug in: “articoli recenti” hope it is “last post”)
To sum up:
CUSTOM CATEGORIES don’t work with
Post Carousel Block
Posts Block
OLNY work with “last posts”
Hope I have well explained and that you can check and help with this issue!
many thanks
Lorenza

Reposting the response from another thread.
Hi @loregi13,
Thank you for re-opening this support request. I am pleased to report that a fix has been deployed with CoBlocks V1.23.0 which should correct this issue. Please ensure you are running the latest version and let us know if you are still having issues.
Best regards,
Anthony
Hi @paranoia1906
can you suggest to the team to test the new version?
I’m using the official WP theme 2020.
I canceled my cache and updated all wp files and plugin
but I noticed that even if now the Coblock works correctly on the back office side, and I can correctly choose the post categories and how many columns (I’m using 2 columns and 20 posts per page) – when I split and visit the page I see all the categories and only 1 columns and not 2 columns.
How can I fix?
It seems to be solved but only on the back office side…
thanks
Lorenza
And, @paranoia1906, if I can add, the worse thing is that, while in the back office now I can choose the post category and I see that it seems ok, when I go to the URL page I see that the post category does not work and I see all the posts indifferently by the category settled!!…
So, nothing is solved, I’m sorry to say that.
Please, notice that I’m using the official Twenty Twenty wordpress theme!
If the team could check it with the official theme before giving a new realease it would be appreciated.
Thanks
Lorenza
