CNAME and Domain Mapping

Hello,
My wordpress blog is on http://www.domain.com currently. My main website is http://www.domain2.com. I have successfully created a CNAME with a subdomain of my main website to point to my blog (blog.domain2.com -> http://www.domain.com). If I ping the subdomain it’s showing http://www.domain.com with the correct IP address. My wordpress blog is hosted on GoDaddy.
It does recognize any of the my files though:
http://www.domain.com/2014/07/post WORKS
http://blog.domain2.com/2014/07/post 404 ErrorWithin Settings -> General I have changed the WordPress and Site Addresses to http://blog.domain2.com.
This is what I currently have in my .htaccess file:

Am I missing any basic steps for all the directories, posts, etc. to be showing up on my newly created subdomain (http://blog2.domain.com)?
