That’s just an old todo that I forgot to remove. Current versions of Connections and Tile Plus will load just fine over SSL.
Are you certain Connections is the issue?
I’m not 100% certain. We’ve had issues with the core and other plugins since the 3.5.1 upgrade. Here are some of the js filepaths that are causing an issue with our secure settings for IE10. I don’t have a link, because this is internal only. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix the JavaScript URLs? These should all be https protocol.

Interesting, those same files will be server correctly for me. The only difference is that I have pretty permalinks turned on. Can you try that?
Also, how are you forcing https?
Connections uses the standard WP functions to determine the URL which will correctly set the https protocol. So a guess would be the method that you’re using for force https.
This is a production site and changing the permalinks to something other than the default would break too many links.
I’ve suspected for a while now that it does have something to do with our force https method. Maybe there is a syntax error in our apache config. I will try to find out and also maybe use an .htaccess file with appropriate code.
What we have now:
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off [NC]
RewriteRule (.*) https://someurl.com$1 [R]
Thanks for all of your help.
Okay, I’ve cleared most of the blocks by using this gist,

I’m closing this issue.
