# CMS – Clean Page structure

 * I’ve looked and looked to no avail.
 * I’m looking for a script or straight forward advice/direction that helps with
   an intuitive page navigation. It should dynamically display all the pages above
   the current page in the sidebar up to the grand-most parent.
 * **So for instance if my structure is:**
    1. Page 1
 *  1. Subpage 1.1
    2. Subpage 1.2
    3. Subpage 1.3
 *  - Page 2
 *  1. Subpage 2.1
    2. Subpage 2.2
 *  1. Subpage 2.2.1
    2. Subpage 2.2.2
    3. Subpage 2.2.3
 *  1. Subpage 2.2.3.1
    2. Subpage 2.2.3.2
 *  - Subpage 2.3
 *  1. Subpage 2.3.1
    2. Subpage 2.3.2
    3. Subpage 2.3.3
 *  1. Subpage 2.3.3.1
    2. Subpage 2.3.3.2
 * **Examples:**
 * If I am on page 2 the sidebar displays:
    1. Page 2
 *  1. Subpage 2.1
    2. Subpage 2.2
 *  1. Subpage 2.2.1
    2. Subpage 2.2.2
    3. Subpage 2.2.3
 *  1. Subpage 2.2.3.1
    2. Subpage 2.2.3.2
 *  - Subpage 2.3
 *  1. Subpage 2.3.1
    2. Subpage 2.3.2
    3. Subpage 2.3.3
 *  1. Subpage 2.3.3.1
    2. Subpage 2.3.3.2
 * If I am on subpage 1.2 the sidebar displays:
    1. Page 1
 *  1. Subpage 1.1
    2. Subpage 1.2
    3. Subpage 1.3
 * If I am on subpage 2.3.3.2 the sidebar would contain (NOTE does not include the
   children of 2.2):
    1. Page 2
 *  1. Subpage 2.1
    2. Subpage 2.2
    3. Subpage 2.3
 *  1. Subpage 2.3.1
    2. Subpage 2.3.2
    3. Subpage 2.3.3
 *  1. Subpage 2.3.3.1
    2. Subpage 2.3.3.2
