Has anybody experienced issues with Cloudflare www redirect issues related to BPS plugin and Siteground hosting?
I was trying to set up Cloudflare directly from Siteground hosting and a warning stating: “WWW REDIRECT CHECK FAILED. For Cloudflare to work properly, all site traffic must go through http://WWW.” showed up.
I contacted Siteground, they said that there was a rule in the .htaccess of the site that did not allow for the application to properly redirect to its WWW version. When the .htaccess file code that consisted of standard BPS code was replaced with the default WordPress rewrite htaccess code, the issue was resolved.
I contacted Siteground again to find a solution, they said that as the site is breaking down after BPS code is added, that indicates to the conflict, but they could not say which part of BPS code is causing the conflict as there are quite many rules in the code.

Has anybody experienced similar issues and found the solution? If anybody can recommend another security plugin that will work with Cloudflare and Siteground hosting, please let me know.

BPS and BPS Pro work fine with Cloudflare. Occasionally there are some things that need to be tweaked if you are using a Cloudflare plugin and not a direct Cloudflare setup from the Cloudflare website.

We have 100’s of folks that use SiteGround and Cloudflare and they are not having any issues or problems.

There is nothing in the BPS or BPS Pro standard htaccess files/code that blocks Cloudflare.
