Cloudflare Firewall Rule needed?

    Hello,

    I am using your plugin and I just received emails for only 2 blocked bots. Is it working optimally?

    My site is not yet in full form.

    Do I need an additional Cloudflare Firewall Rule like this ( I just added this recently)?

    I want to make it foolproof and cloudflare complementing your plugin.

    Please tell me what to do?

    Yes the number of blocked bots depends on numerous factors, including site visibility, amount of traffic, etc. So for new sites it is normal for even zero bots to visit.

    2) “Do I need an additional Cloudflare Firewall Rule like this ( I just added this recently)?”

    No the plugin is designed to work without the need of any other plugin or app. So there is no need to use Cloudflare unless you think it is necessary.

    Will Cloudflare Firewall rule affect the performance of your plugin in blocking bad bots?

    Which acts first? Cloudflare or your plugin?

    I just want to cover all my bases.

    No.

    2) “Which acts first? Cloudflare or your plugin?”

    Cloudflare checks the request before it reaches your site. So, Cloudflare acts first.
