Cloudflare and MLA

    Hi David,

    Do you know whether MLA will work with Cloudflare if the paid image optimization is being used. I understand that as part of this, Cloudflare removes the metadata of cached images to make the files smaller.

    I wonder if MLA will be able to access metadata such as tags and descriptions etc. in the original images in order to populate MLA galleries.

    Good to hear from you again, and thanks for the question.

    I don’t have any specific Cloudflare experience or knowledge, but it seems to me that as long as the [mla_gallery] code is running on the same server as the original images it will access the local copy and pick up the metadata in that file.

    I am marking this topic resolved, but if you have a different outcome post an update and I will investigate further.
