cloud plugin installed freezes and not optimizing images

I have 3 sites on same server with lots of images in each. the first site installed with cloud service worked great for about 200 images.

the next 2 sites did not work, they have lots more images.. could that be the problem??

heres the last few lines of the debug output:

is this a dedicated server, vps, or a regular shared server?

I also have had 100% success on smaller sites with under 100 images,

the plugin has been used successfully on sites with 100,000+ images, so it isn’t an issue with the number of images. Could you please describe the problem a bit more, I’m not quite sure what you’re describing. Or perhaps a screenshot would be applicable?

thanks for your reply, so, good to know that its not the image count thats the issue, so, after hitting 1. force resize 2. hit start bulk optimize, nothing shows up, no images, no screen. etc. the site is clean, no broken links, possibly server resources? also, when click to show optimized images, nothing shows as well.

That sounds more like a javascript issue. Open the Inspector in either Chrome or Firefox (Ctrl+Shift+I) and see then refresh the Bulk Optiimze page, and see what happens in the Console tab.

tried deactivating several plugins like w3 cache, js defer, firewall. others.

still not working, will keep trying other stuff. thx again.

ok, so, I noticed that this scripting error is not happening on the successful site, but the 2 that didnt work, looking into the error further.

a 404? That’s interesting, I was expecting some sort of syntax or script conflict. But a 404 would definitely cause problems. Generally, the way to troubleshoot something elusive like that is to disable all plugins (except EWWW) and see if the issue persists. If it works, then re-enable plugins one at a time until the problem happens again.

edit: and based on your last post, it probably is not a plugin that the three sites have in common…

I updated all the wp and theme folders, but still getting ajax not found in wpadmin folder, but its there and up to date.

ive unplugged everthing, unhardened after firewall plugin removed, folders and files have perfect permissions. I realize its not your plugin, since Ive tried a few others and problems running them, Ill head to the server I.T. and see what I can find. thanks again.

Perhaps it is something in your .htaccess file?

yes, was going to clean out all the cache and firewall plugins and renew the htaccess files.. thats next. cool..

I figured out the problem, there were mismatched wp files in the wpadmin folder, I downloaded newest build and copied via ftp to website. that, and a few odd htaccess files, but this is what seemed to do it.
