Simple PopUp
Close upon link click (1 post)

Hello- I'm using an older version of WordPress, but I was still able to get the pop up working fine. I put in the HTML code myself, but there is one thing I can't figure out. I have included a link within the pop up so that when the user clicks it, it will take them to a page that they can subscribe to my list. The problem is that once the new page loads, the pop up comes up again, thinking it's a new window. I know the user can "x" out of that second pop up, but I don't want it to come up at all. How can I make the popup stop after the user clicks within it? I'm hoping there's a way without having an "if" statement, but I couldn't even if I wanted to because I don't have the code you used to make a function call. Any help is greatly appreciated! You can see an example of what I'm talking about on my website at http://www.category5style.com
