Cloning time oscilates

    Hi there!

    I work for a company who uses the plugin (free version) to duplicate sites, but, recently, the time to clone oscilates between 2 minutes and 5 hours (no joking, randomly, independent of hour or site used to duplicate), the site’s structure is multisite and today we have 25 websites. There’s any suggestions of what could be the reason of this oscilation time?

    Hey there @emannuelreis,

    Hope this finds you well. The cloning process will differ depending on a number of factors not limited to :
    – Server resource allocation
    – Data to be cloned
    – Number of files to be copied over

    As a multisite grows, the number of database tables increases which in return requires more database resources to carry out the cloning action. 25 sub-sites will use more resources that 2 or 3 sub-sites on a multisite installation.
