 * Copy all files via ftp
 * Create database export in phpmyadmin.
 * Upload new files to new server
 * Upload database import to phpmyadmin. Manually change the url (if different)
   in database tables.

 * Sure, but you can bulk delete all the pages, but at least you have themes, plugins
   and other assets intact!

 * You will need yo go into phpmyadmin and check the wp_options table. There are
2 references to the old path which you need to swap to the new url.
