cloned meta_key is not working

    Rather than change our data structure, I would like to clone a single number field. The existing field is publication-year[number] and the cloned field will have a new key of publish-date.

    When adding the cloned field and creating the new name and key, I can not access the cloned key via get_field(‘publish-date’), it retains only the publication-year.

    any insight?
