• I handed over updating to my client in December. The first issue was that they couldn’t log in using their new admin credentials without a strange work around (they get an error but they are really signed in, they remove the wp-admin from the address and see the site and then have to edit the page to see the dashboard).

Now though, they go in to update pages and the visual editor is all white. They can view the text editor (but don’t understand it) but not anything in the visual editor.

We are both administrators and I can sign in without any issue, but I can edit pages as usual without any problem with both her admin sign in and my own. I have the same issue with the sign in, but we’ve found a way around it.

I am using the Cohen theme (iThemes) and haven’t ever encountered anything like this before. Has anyone heard of anything that may be on her computer that is causing this issue? She is using various browsers and it doesn’t seem to work in any of them.

    Thank you for your thoughts.

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

I’ll try the health check plugin, but does it make sense to only have these issues with subsequent Admin and not my own? I would have thought that it would affect me as well.
