• Customers can order, and the orders are going through to my client, but the client isn’t receiving their address info (which is mandatory at checkout) and so doesn’t know where to send the order. Client does get the customer’s email address, so for now he is emailing them and asking “Where should I mail your order?” Not good.

I was using the setup where billing info was mandatory (including address) and then the customer could click the box that made shipping address the same as the billing address.

You cannot see this problem on the site. The checkout process works, and paypal works and sends a notice to the client. The client’s email from paypal is where the problem (no address info) occurs. Client called paypal, and they said it’s not their problem.

The paypal email contains this notice: “Important note: Customer has provided an unconfirmed address. Please check the Transaction Details page for this payment to find out whether you will be covered by PayPal Seller Protection.” Client did this but found no address info, hence this email.
