• Saw another post referencing this issue where the submitter responded he finally managed to get it to connect but did not go into detail on how. We have followed the instructions provided as far as setting things up through LinkedIn Developers. It generated a Client ID and Secret Code. When I plugged them in to the plug-in admin, keeps returning “Missing client_id. A valid client_id is required to proceed”.

Thinking it may need some time to take. Been a few hours and seeing the same error. Any feedback concerning this.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi- Thanks for writing, and sharing the link you your site – nice!

Which specific page on the topguardinc site, is the page where is desired to display the LinkedIn updates?

Here are a series of seven (7) screenshots with notes, what one might expect to see during a typical configuration of the LinkedIn Company Updates plugin.

After seeing these, how do they compare to your settings?

    Screenshots with notes here:

1.) The LinkedIn app tells us “Missing client_id. A valid client_id is required to proceed.”:
    1

2.) Go to our LinkedIn company page and copy the company id from the url:

3.) Paste the company id into the WordPress plugin’s “Company ID” field, and click save:

4.) The plugin settings become saved:

5.) Get an Access Token by clicking the “Authorize Me” button:

6.) See “Your LinkedIn authorization token has been successfully updated!” message:

After comparing these, will you write back to let us know how it is?
